The Last of Us is based on the popular video game with the same name. Now, It’s time for the new series to arrive on streaming, starring Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey. The story is set in a post-pandemic America, where Joel (Pascal) and Ellie (Ramsey) wanders through the land in a harsh post-apocalyptic world.
The show is created by the acclaimed Craig Mazin (Chernobyl) and Neil Druckmann, who is the creator of the game itself. Starting on January 15th, the first episode of The Last of Us is available to stream exclusively on HBO Max. HBO Max is a streaming service only available in certain markets including the US, Mexico, Latin America, the Caribbean and some countries in Europe. A HBO Max subscription in the US have two plans, a cheeper tier with ads for $9.99 per month and an add-free tier for the price of $15.99 per month. The series consist of nine episodes and episodes will release on a weekly basis, ending on March 12th, 2023.
